Inspired by the first joke I remember my Dad telling me - it was a a book called "Bubbles in the Bath" by Ivor Winderbottom. I found it hilarious when I was kid - it still makes me smile now, my 6 year old daughter finds it just as funny too. And no, we don't lead shelterd lives.

The first thing that came to mind was a line from a George Formby song "If you can see what I can see when I'm cleanin' windows" - eeh heh turned out nice again mother. - Perhaps you have to be a certain age and live in NW England to get this - or perhaps not.
